Christine Ohlman, lead vocals on the band for Saturday Night Live, known as "The Beehive Queen" spread the soul of her music through the thousands of her fans, growing to love her in voice, talent and performance. And with Christine being a native of Bronx, New York, she was born to Rock n’ Roll with a lot of Soul. In her late teens, Christine's “Wake Me, Shake Me”, first release - was the top 100 in singles.  Christine recorded 6 albums, which includes “The Deep End”.  She feels strongly when she stated to Venture Out! Magazine Online once; “I love my fans. Their support means everything to me. What I do in the Music Industry is for them.”  Christine’s 2010 release of The Deep End with Rebel Montez is:

Christine Ohlman – vocals, acoustic and electric guitar
Cliff Goodwin - vocals, lead guitar
Michael Colbath – bass, vocals
Larry Donahue – drums, percussion

Christine Ohlman is still the current and long time vocalist, with the Saturday Night Live Band, who sang in their 25th anniversary telecast, Bob Dylan’s 30th Anniversary bash at The Garden with George Harrison and Chrissie Hynde. Christine, the queen of blue-eyed rock n’ soul , also made her special appearance at the 2009 Obama Inaugural Gala in Washington, DC, The Lincoln Center “American Songbook” series with Sting and Lou Reed.

That’s not all - Christine Ohlman’s performances with many others in the music industry, draws her fans to her like a magnet. Christine will tell her audience, “I’ve come here to set your souls on fire”.

With Christine’s Saturday Night Live “Swine Fever”, Raves for Re-Hive, interviews with the New York Times, The Beehive Queen also Rocked Elmore Magazine and Rolling Stone as well along with several other publications in reviews.

Members of Rebel Montez are the most valuable people to her as for her in the release of “The Deep End”. Along with Christine’s long standing history in Rock n’ Roll, she is deep in Soul with the members of Rebel Montez.

CD Cover - THE DEEP END

Cliff Goodwin: The legendary New England Rock n’ Roll gods The American Standard Band. Joe Cocker and Robert Palmer called Cliff to be their lead guitarist because of his legendary reputable signature in performance. The music industry fames Cliff; he not only shares the stage, Cliff rocks the House.
Cliff Goodwin - Larry Donahue - Michael Colbath

Michael Colbath: The Jazz at the base of his own rhythm. Known as “Buddha of the Bass”, his stage presence goes deep. With Michael’s fingers at the bass, his performance with Duck Dunn, James Jamierson and John Paul Jones brought his rhythm to high inspirations. He delivers the inspiration in music at its original context.

Larry Donahue: The beat and percussion with unshakable timing. A world of inspiration, at LA’s turbulent music scene, Larry has the elegant Stax styling of Al Jackson, Jr. to Wamack’s “Scratchy” and Frank Kirkland’s jungle-drum excursions with Bo Diddley. With Donahue’s Motto “Have Drums, Will Grove”, he is born again every time he picks up those sticks.

Featured are duets with Dion, Ian Hunter, and Marshall Crenshaw, plus guest appearances by Levon Helm, G.E. Smith, Big Al Anderson, Eric "Roscoe" Ambel, Shawn Pelton, Paul Ossola, Catherine Russell, the Asbury Juke Horns w/ Mark Rivera, Mitch Chakour, Jeff Kazee, and Vic Steffens.

Get Your Healin' Special Re-Release! - Featuring Dr John, Funky Meters, BB King, Irma Thomas, Allen Toussaint, Guardians of the Flame, Blu Lu Barker & more!

Get You a Healin’ features 100 musicians representing the heart of NOLA music. As a result NOMC today provides health services for more than 1,800 musicians and their families.

"Artist of a lifetime - Christine Ohlman remains in the constant spotlight center of music. The Legendary Beehive Queen of Rock n' Soul continues to remain on the top as a recording artist and in her LIVE performance. With Christine Ohlman & Rebel Montez release of "The Deep End"  delivering that "mid-night" mood and feel, along with The Christine Ohlman Collection of CD's - There is no doubt in my mind that Christine Ohlman will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in future years to come" ~ Maggie Griffin, Director of VentureOut! The Hard Way - (HMG 1175) Originally released in 1995 on Deluge Records, Christine's first recorded outing with Rebel Montez laid down the Beehive gauntlet with classics like "A Shot Of You," "Then God Created Woman," "Sugar Melts," and "The Seventh Sons." The title track got some major movie action in 2008's "Sex & Lies In Sin City" starring Matthew Modine and Mina Suvari. "The first thing you notice is her tough, rousing, sexy voice"--Charles M. Young/Playboy

Radio Queen- (HMG 1178) This 1997 live outing, originally released on J-Bird Records, was captured during a raging blizzard and in front of an equally raging audience. Here's where you'll find the only recorded version of "Not Fade Away," a staple of any Rebel Montez show, and early live versions of "Turn" and "When The Summer Goes," later to appear on Wicked Time. "Live is where Christine and her group make their living, and it's where they really stand out. And I mean they stand out the way her white beehive 'do does."--Fran Fried, New Haven Register

Wicked Time- (HMG 1176) 2000 saw the release of brand-new tunes on J-Bird Records, with favorites "Ring Of Flame," "When I Work My Thing On You," "Turn," that good-love-gone-bad anthem that continues to tear it up on live dates, a barn-burning cover of Ike & Tina Turner's "I Idolize You," and the goin'-to-New-Orleans title cut. "'When I Work My Thang' is Johnny Otis singing a swamp theme to a movie Burt Reynolds wished he'd made" --Andrew Loog Oldham

Order or download on Amazon.com here/WICKED TIME - http://www.amazon.com/Wicked-Christine-Ohlman-Rebel-Montez/dp/B001UNSZT4/ref=sr_1_35?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1265498407&sr=8-35

Strip- (HMG 1177) The Beehive Queen returned with a vengence in 2003 on TNA Records with a more swamped-up sound, evident on lovelorn nuggets "Another Country," "Empty," "The Storm," the sexy bossa-nova title track, and and an incendiary version of "Highway 61." Strip was the swan-song legacy of Rebel Montez guitarist Eric Fletcher, "The Blond God," who would pass away in 2006. "Husky voiced tough gals seldom get any more fiery than Christine Ohlman. Like a female Bruce Springsteen or Southside Johnny, she uses her encyclopedic knowledge of soul, blues and swaggering leader-of-the-pack 60s girl group pop to texture her mini-dramas that exude a distinct urban sensibility." --Hal Horowitz, The All-Music Guide

And don't forget Re-Hive, the 2008 career retrospective (HMG 1189), featuring choice cuts from each of the above. Cliff Goodwin comes on board on guitar, big-time, for brand-new Chicago blues classic covers "Killing Floor" and "Dimples." Re-Hive includes seven alternate takes (including a live version of "Then God Created Woman") and previously-unissued versions of the Percy Sledge soul classic "It Tears Me Up" and eighties-era dance floor raver "Charmaine." Available at all outlets above.
